From Bell Bottoms to Hot Pants, the 1970s was a fun and flamboyant fashion era that lives in the minds and hearts of fashionistas around the world! The laid back lifestyles of the 1960s hippie movement set the stage for a more rebellious, free spirited look of the 1970s. Boho style dressing and preference for all-natural materials in the ’70s was also a very big deal- a lot like today!

Though time marches on and the decade faded, it's unforgettable style continues to inspire fashion designers and influencers around the world. There is no better example of the longevity of this fashion era than its rebirth in the early 2000s. Many eras since the 70s contain glimpses of the beloved fad, but that of the present day arguably mirrors the style most of all.

But don't just take my word for it, see it for yourself....

Belted bell bottoms, blazers, and leather bags was the popular business casual swag for boss babes in the 1970s. Lucky for us, that look is back and better than ever!

Wide leg rompers were worn by housewives and women of status in the 1970s. It took a while for the trend to catch on again, but in the early 2000s the fad made a grand come back!

Turquoise, chunky jewelz and the beloved squash blossom added beauty and elegance to any wardrobe in the 70s. Remember Cher's iconic style? God bless that woman!

.

Denim tie tops and denim shorts or "Hot Pants" was a go-to style for women in 1970 for an edgy summer look. Not much has changed, am I right?

Time to get back to Wacky Wagon business, but I will leave you with this quote from Steven Tyler, "I've got scarves and boots from 1970 that I still wear." BOOM!

Stay Wacky,
